For weeks now, Halo Infinite players have grappled with a very frustrating bug when queuing for the battle mode of the big team of the game. 343 Industries have tried to fix problems several times, but continue to this day. Fortunately, it seems that 343 industry finally reached the root of this problem, and improvements to it must be immediately available.

If you have played Halo Infinite, you are likely to get used to this problem, especially if you play with friends. When queuing for a big team battle, players can find all kinds of problems. The biggest is not being able to join the game with your Fireteam, because sometimes matchmakers will say that the game is found, and then the player will suddenly fail to join.

I personally encountered a problem where other players at the party I will join the game but I will not, only displayed black loading screens or “waiting to join” on the matchmaking screen. At other times, my friends and I have been stuck in a loop that shows the same error over and over again, forcing us to get out of the game and restart.

In short: the big team battle is something crapshoot at this time. Sometimes you can join a compatibility without problems and other times of errors and this problem will prevent you from joining the big team battle match despite repeated efforts. It is very frustrating when you get a weekly challenge centered on the big team battle, but also just because the big team fight is a fun mode that you want to play.

343 Industry said that this problem became worse with bigger Fireteam, and because I often queued with three or four people at my party, I believe. Fortunately, after repeatedly the effort to smoke this problem, it seems that improvements finally on the road.

In the update posted to the Hello Waypoint forum, the director of the Halo Community Brian Jarrard provides an encouraging update about this issue, by saying that “strike strength” in 343 works on this problem during the holidays and may have found a solution. “It entered the QA last week and so far it looks positive – we don’t see this problem going on internally using this building,” Jarrard said.

From here, Jarrard said that the plan was to continue to test the improvement and then send it for certification. Unfortunately, he couldn’t give us an ETA to improve outside saying that it would not be available this week, but he said that waiting hopefully it would be longer.

Jarrard also said that 343 was looking to send a larger update in mid-February that discussed other problems with Hello Infinite multiplayer, including cheating. We have to wait more detail about the fillings, but Jarrard said that 343 “works to get as much as possible to this FEB update while still ensuring the negative impact or regression to other parts of the game,” which is encouraging thing to hear.

It’s nice to hear that improvements to this big team battle are not detained until February updates, because faster mode can be repaired, the better. We will notify you when 343 industry shares more information, so stay here.
