OLED iPads may finally arrive in 2024 under budding Samsung deal

According to new reports, the iPad Apple 2024 line can include a large increase in the appearance of the Samsung OLED display, carrying the display of devices equivalent to smaller iPhones.

Rumors have spun for years that Apple works on iPad OLED. OLED screen offers a much better experience than LCD because every pixel has its own illumination instead of relying on backlight. This allows OLED to display the correct Black and reduce the effect of hello that shines a lot of LCD experiences. Fine-tuned control over pixels that lights up can also cause increased power efficiency and battery life. In addition, OLEDs usually produce colors that are more vibrant than LCD (through a smart system).

For devices that are basically one large screen, it’s easy to see why Apple wants to move the iPad to the OLED display. To be fair, LED mini company technology is a large increase from past models but, in essence, mini-led is just an enhanced LCD type (through culturofmac).

According to a report by ELEC, Apple and Samsung worked to bring the OLED display to the iPad line 2024.

The two companies had previously collaborated on the 10.86-inch OLED screen for the iPad last year, but the effort was stopped in the third quarter. At that time, Samsung could not meet several Apple technical requirements with a decent price point. In particular, Apple “wants a panel with a two-stack tandem structure – where it has two layers of emissions – instead of conventional single stack structures.”

Evidently, the two companies still negotiate, with Samsung trying to secure a large enough order to bring the scale of the economy to be borne. With sufficient volume, electronic producers hope to avoid financial factors that handle last year’s agreement.

If both companies reach an agreement, Elec predicts Samsung will send OLEDs in 2023, in time for Apple to include them in the 2024 model.

Out of nowhere, NVIDIA reveals an RTX 3080 with 12GB of RAM

When Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 was originally launched, some were left scratching the head about the fact that the GPU was only equipped with 10GB of RAM. Today, Nvidia secretly fixes the problem by revealing RTX 3080 12GB. As the name suggests, the new graphics card is equipped with 12GB of RAM, and while it might be the most significant upgrade, there are some other differences that need to be considered too.

What’s strange about this situation is that Nvidia announces RTX 3080 12GB without much fanfare. There has been no press release or blog posts that announced a new GPU, and even Nvidia Geforce Twitter account fell silent on this problem. The only indication of the existence of RTX 3080 12GB seems to be in the updated specifications for 3080 on the NVIDIA GeForce website.

In the specification sheet, we can see the difference between a 12GB card and 10GB iteration. In addition to 2GB of RAM added, the new 3080 is equipped with 8,960 couples compared to 10GB 8.704 cards. The memory interface width has also been upgraded to 384-bit from 320-bit, while the basic clock speed has fallen slightly to 1.26 GHz. Finally, the total Draw Power rose to 350W (from 320W), which was not too surprising.

Beyond it, 12GB 3080 is the same card with 10GB one, with most specifications remain the same. However, this is a good change for those who think that 10GB of memory may be too little for the cards as strong as 3080, especially now that we live in a world where 12GB 3060 and 3080 IT are there.

For now, we are not sure which manufacturing partner is ready 3080 12GB that is ready for use or when the cards will be available at retailers. The announcement of the shadow of Nvidia from 12GB 3080 makes it difficult to determine when the card will be completely launched, but someone must consider it soon, if not today.

It makes the price of a big question mark now, because more reasons from one. The only 3080 card listed on the Nvidia website is 10GB, so we don’t have a basic MSRP to continue. Even if we do it, the shortage of ongoing semiconductors and high demand for GPU has encouraged manufacturers to raise prices throughout the board, so even if Nvidia has set MSRP for 3080 12GB, there is a good opportunity card from the company’s manufacturing partners costs more.

Of course, the lack of semiconductor is likely that it will be difficult to get one of these cards, regardless of costs. Every time Nvidia manufacturing partners launch their cards, we hope they sell quickly. Restocks will go the same as stock fast and available will be difficult to find until we are on the other side of this shortfall, which can last this year or even extend to 2023.

So, if you are going to look for prey for 12GB 3080, good luck for you. Assuming the price difference between these and 10GB 3080 is not too large, it can be worth pursuing a 12GB model, but with global shortages like this, those in the market for new cards cannot be picky.

Apple’s future AR/MR headset may be years ahead of the competition

Over the past few months, rumors working on the reality of augmented apple / mixed reality (AR / MR) has formed quite exciting. According to a recent report that Apple Ming-Chi Kuo analyst was prepared for investors, the upcoming Apple Headset may require the same computing power level as the MacBook Pro. Kuo also states that the device must offer a much higher performance than the latest iPhone.

The report, first seen by AppleInsider, includes many topics related to the reported AR / MR headset. Kuo talks about device architecture, which might display not just one, but two processors: one 4nm chip and one 5nm chip. This exceeds the previous expectations and, if true, will put Apple in front of the curve – most competitors ar / mr headset only displays one processor.

Running two separate CPUs is not a joke, so it’s no wonder that the new Apple headset will require a fair amount of power. According to Kuo, the device uses a 96W Jabil charger with the same specifications as used for 14-inch MacBook Pro. This will provide faster and more efficient charging even though the high power requirements (most likely) headset. Kuo describes further on the option to use a 96W charger by saying, “[it] proves that Apple AR / MR requires the same computing power level as the MacBook Pro and is significantly higher than the iPhone.”

If the new AR / MR headset proved successful as big as Ming-chi Kuo predicts the rest of the report, it looks like Apple might have a hit smash on the road. According to the Kuo, the headset will offer “innovative Vivid AR user experience” and will give users access to Metafale in unprecedented capacity. Because of its relationship with the entire apple ecosystem, it will also display unlimited support for other Apple products. This kind of compatibility may be difficult to achieve by other AR / MR / VR headset manufacturers.

Using two processors instead of one will definitely give the edge of the Apple headset that will separate it from a similar device that is already on the market. Kuo’s estimate put it up to 3 years before his biggest competitor, like Qualcomm. As suggested by Kuo in this latest report, most of the AR / VR headset chips are currently supplied by Qualcomm, with the XR2 chip to be the superior offered by the current manufacturer.

XR2 Qualcomm chip offers computing power similar to cellphones. If the upcoming Apple Ar / Mr headset will be closer to the computer rather than the phone in terms of strength and performance, it means that Qualcomm may be abandoned. Analysts estimate that it might need market leaders today for up to two years to catch up.

Although the release of the upcoming Apple Ar / Mr / VR headsets can occur in 2022, inventory will be limited. However, Ming-Chi Kuo estimates that shipping will increase every year: 3 million units in 2023, 8-10 million units in 2024, and finally, 15-20 million units in 2025.

Microsoft shares its own Surface Laptop SE teardown to prove a point

Microsoft surface products are one of the most handsome laptops and 2-in-1 on the market. This series has managed to show off the best Windows features in the current era and provide consumers with the original alternative to the design of the leading industrial apple class. However, if there is one area where Microsoft has stumbled with the surface lineup, it is by repairing this device. In most instances, customers cannot serve themselves or improve their surface machines as they can with PCs from other vendors; Instead, they must send the device to Microsoft for repairs.

The “Rights for Improvement” movement has gained momentum several times with consumers and a tiring advocacy group of trends towards “outdated planned” for various reasons, including e-waste problems and the feeling that consumers are compounded by forced enhancements. The modular laptop of a framework is a good example of a company that utilizes this consumer sentiment by developing a very modular laptop design that can be easily repaired and enhanced by customers. In many ways, the framework is an antitesis of the Microsoft approach with the surface.

Laptop Surface SE is one of the latest laptops from Microsoft and a very different approach needed for its internal design versus the previous surface laptop. Instead of the warning stickers and the use of extensive glue, this model is much more modular and can be repaired by the user than before – it is not like a framework, but this is a very positive first step in keeping the promise made by the company (via when you sow) .

He is a laptop surface SE targeted at the educational market, which means that some class class sets need to be deployed at school. This will require strong IT support which will also be extended to staff who definitely need to make repairs and replace things like obsolete batteries.

In fact, Microsoft has posted a provision in a video stating “Microsoft recommends that you seek professional help for device repair and you are careful if you make your own improvement.” However, as video highlights, the process of breaking the components on the surface of the SE is relatively easy.

The Teistown surface laptop is not something that can be easily solved by previous surface design. If this is a sign of what comes from Microsoft’s future surface design, all of us
