Smartphones and tablets are an incredible way to keep in touch with others and access the world’s knowledge. They also, sometimes, annoyance that can ruin your concentration at the worst time possible or wake you in the middle of the night with a bad notice. Fortunately, there is one feature that addresses all of these problems: do not disturb.
Samsung mobile devices, including smartphones that may exist in your pocket right now, has a feature called do not disturb (via Samsung). When enabled, this feature will basically pull out your phone, including any warning that you can related to calls, messages, and applications.
Enabling this feature in the Samsung Smartphone or Tablet is very easy:
1): Swipe down from the top of the screen to open the notifications panel.
2): Scroll down again to reveal the full list of shortcuts and quick action.
3): Find quick action is called “Do Not Disturb.” You may have to swipe to the left through the menu to find the setting.
4): Tap the “Do not disturb” so it turns blue.
Color does not bother not to disturb button may vary based on which device you have, whether you are using a theme, and if you use a light or dark mode. Keep in mind that this process assumes you are using Samsung’s One UI, instead of a third-party Android launcher.

Schedule exactly what they sound: a block of time when the do not disturb will be turned on and off automatically. This feature is very useful to ensure that the device muted during your sleeping hours, if not, you may be awakened by a call or message is staggering.
Exceptions, meanwhile, lets you choose which notifications are allowed even when not disturb turned on. Maybe you turn on the feature at work, but want to make sure you do not miss a call from your spouse or your child. In this case, you can add their phone number to the exception list calls.
There are certain exceptions that you want to consider running. For example, Samsung has exceptions “Repeat callers”, when enabled, allows calls through even if the do not disturb turned on, assuming the same number call you more than once within a period of 15 minutes. The idea is that if someone is in trouble and the urgent need to get you, the feature “Repeat callers” will let their calls through, but all other calls will still be automatically muted.
Additionally, you will want to turn on the “Alarm” under the list of exceptions if you regularly use your Samsung device as an alarm clock. If this exception is not active, all the alarms that you have set will be muted if the do not disturb is enabled, potentially making you late for work or school.
Although smartphones and tablets Samsung is very popular, it makes it more than just a mobile device. Chromebooks are other consumer gadgets Samsung sold, and they also have a do not disturb mode. This feature is part of Google Chrome OS, an operating system that is installed on a laptop this small.
If you have a Samsung Chromebook, you can turn the feature on do not disturb using the same method found on the Chrome OS device: Tap or click on the status found on the bottom right side of the screen (the part with the clock).
It will attract a full quick setting panel, which includes buttons for things like Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. One quick action found in this panel is called “notification,” and rapped on it will effectively issue a warning anything until you turn it off again.
